Shadows of The Damned

Shadows of the Damned is one that I wish I had picked up right away in 2011.  Excellent game with cool style thanks to Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture.  Definitely worth the discounted price you can find it for now.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Finally baet KoAR!  The final boss fight was a bit mundane, and the final "reveal" felt somewhat contrived, but it was still an excellent game overall. A little less than fifty hours well spent on a great new IP.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

While KoA:Reckoning isn't quite as deep a world as Skyrim (from an interactivity standpoint), it's certainly an excellent game.  Quite fun, with far more entertaining combat.  Also, it doesn't require the same amount of insane time investment per session to feel a sense of accomplishment.

Thumbs up!

ICO

Beat ICO today.  While I definitely didn't enjoy it as much as Shadow of The Colossus, it's definitely a solid game in it's own right.  It has also held up quite well for being an early-era PS2 title.

Syndicate demo

After playing the co-op demo for the new Syndicate FPS, I'm less worried.  However, I'd still have preferred an updated RTS.

Elite Drop 1

These new Modern Warfare 3 maps come with extra player profanity? I love free bonus content!

Vanquish

Beat Vanquish yesterday.  Although it received a few critical dismissals for the short length of the campaign, I felt it was just right.  If it had been any longer it would have worn out its welcome due to being too frenetic in pacing.

Besides, with the leaderboard features there is plenty of replay value. There is also "God Hard" mode for masochists out there.
